All Abilities Circus/Parkour
Overview
Castlemaine Circus has started a weekly circus and parkour class for neurodivergent kids! It's a chance for kids to build confidence, be creative, stay active, and feel welcome.
The classes will be both structured and exploratory so kids can choose what to engage with, learn at their own pace and have fun in the circus space. There will be a chill out area in the space with sensory play. The class will develop foundational skills in tumbling, balancing, swinging, climbing, leaping and vaulting. Participants can build their strength, coordination, agility, confidence and sense of belonging. They can learn how to take safe, physical risks that are not only fun but helpful for development.
Ages: 2-12 years old
Day & time: Wednesdays 11:45am-12:45pm
Class size: Up to 10 students with their parents/carer/guardian & siblings encouraged to join in
Price: Trial the first class, and then $220 (10-week term)
