Come & Try Wheelchair Basketball – December 10th, 2024

In celebration of International Day of People with Disability on December 3rd, Red Energy Arena Bendigo, in partnership with Sports Focus, is thrilled to host a Come & Try Wheelchair Basketball Session on December 10th, 2024!

We're excited to have Shelley Matheson, a three-time Paralympian and exceptional wheelchair basketball athlete, leading this session. Get ready for a fun and engaging experience with drills, skill development, and a game at the end. The session will take place in an incredibly inclusive, welcoming, and fun environment!

This session is open to everyone, of any age and any ability – no experience needed! Wheelchairs are provided, so whether you’re someone with a disability, recovering from an injury, or simply curious about wheelchair basketball, this is the perfect opportunity to give it a go and have some fun!
