New River walk in Millgrove

Residents and visitors alike can enjoy great views of the Birrarung (Yarra River) and nature in Millgrove, thanks to the new river walk on River Road.

Millgrove resident of 35 years, Errol, got in touch with Council to send in this photo, of him enjoying the walk on his mobility scooter.

"The experience of being able to move through the bush again was a profoundly moving experience and my mind was racing with the possibilities for other disabled people to be able to experience what I was feeling," Errol said.
